The Unspoken Rules

Brandon growled when Maria and Angela came towards Miranda. "Nope. Your to late." he laughed, hugging her tighter.

"Oh god." Ryan mumbled rolling his eyes. He looked over at Toni who was laughing quietly.

Miranda looked up at Brandon, raising an eyebrow. "Can Ryan have me back?" She asked, glancing over at Ryan.

"Nope." Brandon smirked, sitting down on the couch, taking the spot next to Ryan.

Miranda sat on Brandon's lap simply, looking over at Ryan. She whimpered slightly, then looking back at Brandon. "He can't?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

Ryan snorted and pulled Miranda from off of Brandon's lap and onto his. "Mine." he said simply, wrapping his arms around her.

Miranda laughed, and snuggled into Ryan's chest, closing her eyes. "I'm loved." She smirked, sighing happily.

"Alot." Ryan whispered with a smile. He closed his eyes as he leaned his head back against the couch, sighing softly.

"A lot." Miranda smirked, correcting him. She turned so she could face him, raising an eyebrow at his closed eyes. She gently placed her lips on his, then pulled away, digging her face into his chest.

Ryan laughed softly, keeping his arms around her. He opened one eye to look down at her before closing it again.

Brandon grunted and turned on the TV." So, what have you two been up to?" he yawned. Though he really didn't care about what they were doing.

"Nothing." Miranda replied, shrugging. She nudged Brandon best she could, then watched Ryan's face curiously.

Brandon smirked and nudged her back. He glanced at Ryan and flicked his nose.

Ryan rolled his eyes, hiding it by keeping his eyelids. He punched Brandon in the ribs and settled into the back of the couch.

Miranda laughed, and sat in the space between the two. She leaned into Ryan, then Brandon watching them both.

"Your just begging for a fight." Toni laughed, looking from Ryan to Brandon. She sat next to Ryan poking him every few seconds.

Ryan smirked and playfully rolled his eyes. He looked over at Brandon, who was staring back. "Maybe." he said simply, shrugging.

"No." Miranda said, looking at Ryan, as if scolding. "No fighting, it's not exactly the best to watch." She rolled her eyes, and leaned into Brandon, and away from Ryan, smirking.

Ryan playfully glared at her. He pulled Toni into his lap, resting his chin on the top of her head as he watched TV.

"His favorite sibling." Brandon whispered to Miranda. He patted her head gently and stood, grabbing his football.

Miranda rolled her eyes again, and hopped up. She glared back at Ryan, smirking and stole the football from Brandon, tossing it around between her hands.

Brandon stole the football back and went out into the backyard, though it was raining. He yawned softly as he looked up at the sky, lighting flashing and thunder cracking. "Perfect." he called towards Sam who had a bat and baseball in hand.

Ryan stood, gently pushed Toni off of his lap and grabbed the ball from Sam. He went outside, the rain almost instantly soaking him, and got on the pitcher's mound. "Come on." he yelled impatiently.

Angela walked out behind Toni. She looked at Toni's skirt and tank top and rolled her eyes. "Nice for baseball." she joked, running to first base and waiting.

Toni just rolled her eyes back. She bounded out of the lines, waiting for the bat.

Sam stood ready for Ryan to throw the ball. He smirked, eyes narrowed, waiting.

Miranda followed after them, laughing hard. She stood beside the house, watching them. They seemed just like the perfect family. Teased at times, but friendly otherwise.

Maria stood beside Miranda, flashing a quick smile at her. "Still not one for sports?" she laughed softly.

Ryan threw the ball, shifting his weight at the last second, making the ball curve. Though Sam hit it anyway, making him growl under his breath. His eyes went over to where Angela was, who had already sprinted after the ball. Seconds later she was back, holding the ball in the air. "Out!" was all she said. Ryan smirked as he looked at Toni, catching the ball after Angela threw it to him. He threw it faster than before, but Toni hit it anyway.

"Not with people who have been playing vampire style for a long time." Miranda said back to Maria, laughing slightly. "No, I'm just not the sporty type. Probably never will be anyways."

"You should try it." Maria encouraged, glancing towards her family.

"We'll go easy on you." both Ryan and Brandon promised, laughing after their little inside joke.

"Come on." Toni smiled, standing happily on second base.

"It's easy." Angela called, playfully glaring over at Toni.

"It's not easy, and I think I'll just watch." Miranda replied, looking at Ryan. "I don't want to hurt anyone, and I'm good here." She smiled slightly, sitting in the grass.

Ryan threw the baseball at Miranda, the ball slicing through the air.

"Ryan!" Maria scolded grabbing the ball and tossing it to Sam. "Your out." she commanded, pointing to the spot beside her.

Ryan grumbled under his breath and crossed his arms as he went to Maria's side and narrowed his eyes.

Toni couldn't help but laugh, along with Angela, Brandon, and Sam. She took Ryan's place, quieting her laughs.

Sam tossed the ball to Toni and went out into the field, Brandon taking the bat instead.

Miranda looked up at Ryan, raising an eyebrow. She didn't get what just happened. She stood up, standing on Maria's other side.

"Ryan throws harder than anyone else. Your lucky it didn't hit you." Maria whispered over at Miranda, glancing over at Ryan as he shifted his weight to his other foot.
